How to Reach

A number of national highways and motorways converge on Pisa: the way Aurelia, the A12 motorway from Sestri Levante to Livorno and the A11 motorway “Firenze-Mare” which at Florence (45 minutes by car) intersects with the Milan-Rome motorway (A1“Autostrada del Sole”).

The airport, the fourth most important in the country in terms of air traffic, in addition to numerous domestic flights, offers daily flights to major European capitals with overseas connections.

Pisa is also an important railway junction linking the Florence-Livorno line with the main line Turin (3 hours and 30 minutes by train), Genoa and Rome (4 hours by train).
