Software development and Information Systems administration

In brief

The System Administrator (SA) is the responsible for running technically advanced Information Systems or some aspect of them. At technical level, the SA often deals with the setup and maintenance of computers and networks. At service level, the SA also works on the enhancement of business processes through technology, dealing with databases, applications, security and programming. A senior SA having skills in other areas tends to be system architect, which is responsible for interfacing between users, sponsors and stakeholders. The SA generates the highest level of consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined system requirements, performing cost-benefit analyses, making maximum use of commercial components.

Topics

A seminar is a special event to collect skills and stimulate debate and interactive problem solving around complex issues related to specific topics. Focusing on methods and techniques, a seminar relies on the rich experience and different cultural perspectives of participating professionals to analyze case studies and best practices. It also offers opportunities to interact with experts, managers, staff and local communities. This kind of events often requires the employment of a special task group to cope with unusual technological and administrative needs.
