| Aldo N. D'Andrea received the Dr.Ing. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 1977. From 1977 to 1981 he was a Research fellow engaged in research on digital phase-locked loops at the Centro Studi per i Metodi e i Dispositivi di Radiotrasmissione of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR). Since 1978 he has been involved in the development of the Italian Air Traffic Control Program (ATC). Currently, he is a Full Professor of Communication Systems at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria della Informazione, Università di Pisa. His interests include the design and analysis of digital communication systems, signal processing and synchronization. |
