Short bio

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Informatics and Telematics (IIT) of the National Research Council (CNR) in Pisa. I also work as an adjunct professor with the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa. I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Engineering, both received summa cum laude from the University of Pisa. In 2015, I received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the Leonardo da Vinci doctoral school, University of Pisa. During my Ph.D. studies, I visited the Hamlyn Centre (Imperial College London) and conducted research on wearable sensor-based gait analysis. My main research interests include cybersecurity, wearable sensors, pervasive healthcare, and machine learning.
